A family from Canada hired our firm to design their vacation float house on Lake Pend Oreille, in Bayview Idaho. We finished the entire design and documentation for this house prior to meeting the clients face to face.   What was a fun design process, also became an exercise in how to make a structure as lightweight, energy efficient and stable with water as a foundation.
